The Chevy Chase Land Company welcomes
The Mills Corporation
to Chevy Chase Center
The Chevy Chase Land Company
of Montgomery County, Maryland is pleased to announce that The Mills
Corporation is relocating its corporate headquarters from Arlington,
Virginia to the Chevy Chase Office Building in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Mills has leased 202,147 square feet in The Chevy Chase Land Company's
redevelopment of the Chevy Chase Center at 5425 Wisconsin Avenue.
The eight-story office tower will sit atop the neighborhood-oriented
retail, steps from the Friendship Heights metro station, on the
metro Red line.
"After decades of planning, The
Chevy Chase Land Company is poised to open the most exciting mixed-use
development in Montgomery County, and the only Class A office building
in Chevy Chase with a Wisconsin Avenue address," says Edward
Hall Asher, President and COO of The Land Company. "We
are pleased that the timing and amenities of this project coincide
with the needs of The Mills Corporation," continues Asher,
"and we hope our newest tenant will join us in strengthening
this growing community."
CB Richard Ellis represented
The Land Company in the lease transaction.
